Manifesto is an independent civic engagement platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representing any government entity, electoral body, or official state agency. All civic and representative data is sourced from public records and verified user contributions.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide a secure and transparent civic social platform:

  • Account Data: Phone number, username, role preference (Citizen, Politician, Expert).
  • User Content: Civic statements, comments, poll responses, and media uploads (photos/videos).
  • Device & Analytics Data: IP address, device model, operating system version, and anonymized usage statistics via Google AdMob and analytics services.

2. Zero-Tolerance User-Generated Content (UGC) Policy

Manifesto enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy against inappropriate content and abuse. Users must not post:

  • Hate speech, discrimination, or harassment directed at individuals or groups.
  • Incitement to violence, illegal acts, or physical harm.
  • Defamation, unverified personal attacks, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
  • Sexually explicit, graphic, or adult material.

Violation of these guidelines will result in immediate content removal and permanent account suspension.

3. In-App Reporting & Moderation

Users can report any objectionable content or user directly within the platform using the report button on posts and profiles. Reported content is reviewed by our moderation team within 24 hours. Users may also block any account to instantly prevent further interaction.

4. Data Deletion & User Rights

You have full control over your data. You may delete your account and associated content at any time directly in the app settings, or by submitting a public request on our Account Deletion Request Page.

5. Google AdMob & Third-Party Services

Our app uses Google AdMob to display personalized and non-personalized advertisements. Google may use advertising identifiers to serve relevant ads. You can manage your ad preferences in your device settings.
